I am new to coast Georgia too having just purchased some <a href="http://www.danagardner.com" rel="nofollow">St. Simons Island real estate</a> about a year and a half ago. I found when I was doing research on the area prior to the move that there were already a lot of good deals out here. What really helped me get the best deal though was having a great realtor. Our realtor was very patient with my husband and I and showed us multiple homes on different occasions as we were having a hard time deciding on a home. She was able to get the, then owners to agree to a slightly lower price which allowed us to afford the home that we ultimately decided on. You make many excellent points here. I’ve heard some horror stories before about people getting raw or bad deals when buying a home. I ended up speaking with a Realtor down here who showed me quite a few Sea Island and Brunswick homes. The purchase of my home was just finalized about two month ago and I have to say it went pretty smooth. I saw a ton of homes for sale in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Simons_Island" rel="nofollow">St. Simons Island</a> and I had a hard time deciding on which one I wanted since they were all so beautiful.
